The power button on my monitor is broken... luckily its stuck on the 'on' position, but still its really annoying. It doesn't feel loose, like I can't push it in and out, its just stuck. Maybe the connectors got out of sync?...
Has anyone ever had this happen to them, or does anyone have any suggestions?
Thanks in advance,
-Alex

Sounds to me like an occasion to take that bitch apart and figure out why it won't work!
When you push the button does it get that "click" feedback or is there just nothing there? The reason I ask is that its possible the circuit board that has the actual button could be misaligned and you're just not hitting it.

Nah theres just nothing there, like I can't push it, it seems stuck...but I don't know the button is really small, it seems like it would be hard for it to misaligne :s

If it's a Tube monitor be careful. Those things can hold a charge even after being unplugged.

I took apart an HP LCD monitor. Damn thing was entirely snap-together. Easy to mess up without tools and instructions.

The only spot you have to look out for is the wire that goes to the side of the tube in the middle of the glass. Thats what holds the charge.
Yeah, most LCD's are: Remove base, screws in all 4 corners, snaps on all sides. Use a butterknife or a small flathead head screwdriver to pop the snaps.
